I am off for the weekend... ladies' retreat in the mountains (yippeee!), but also the first time I'm leaving Bug (sniff!) I hope to be back bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Monday morning!

Aren't you the early bird today? It's so lovely that even though you live far, far away in Small Town, North Carolina, I am able to drop in and get a slice of your life.

One more thought...I took a missions trip to Kenya (a long time ago, it seems), and they began singing this song:
"Weiner, weiner, weiner, weiner...
Jesus, you are a weiner"
I was shocked, I admit.
They repeated that for like five minutes. We were singing along, but confused. The song was in English, but made no sense...
Then they broke out the second verse:
"Loosa, loosa, loosa, loosahhh, Satan, you are a looosah" (loser)
Oooooh! Jesus is a WINNER!
The Swahili accent was really throwing us off. I will never forget that song!
