All the... small things...

It's one of those weeks.

You know, when the thing you ordered from Amazon.com comes broken.

And you see something you bought at Wal-mart at another Wal-mart for $15 less.

And your daughter drops your list while in Wal-mart, so you've been crossing your fingers all day, hoping that you remembered everything on the list, so you don't have to go back there.

And the check engine light comes on.

And you're locked out of your cell phone and your voice mail because they want security codes that you never set... so hopefully no one will call you.

And Baby #2 is making life increasingly more difficult-- hard to breathe, hard to sit, hard to eat, hard to sleep, hard to walk...ahem...waddle.

I desire so badly to have JOY in the Lord at all times, but sometimes all these little things make me want to curl up in bed and ignore life.

Though the fig tree should not blossom
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will exult in the LORD,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18

Everyone has that problem. We just need to be thankful in all things. Easier said than done.
